⊛ As it does every year, the Mexican capital keeps the spotlight trained on design throughout the tenth month.

Of the various major events held to celebrate, Helvex participates actively in three: Expo Obra Blanca, Encuentro Helvex and Design Week
Let’s take a look at each one.
◌ Expo Obra Blanca
This trade show has been growing within the construction industry every year and was
held this time from October 10 to 12 at Expo Santa Fe, clearly the ideal setting for both
Helvex and Emozioni By Helvex to show off their most recent creations for 2024.

The former displayed a full array of design possibilities in furnishings, textures and colors for flooring, in addition to coatings.
⊛ Helvex, on the other hand, displayed bathroom fittings with new finishes and colors that interior designers are sure to rely on.
We also presented the WC Sustenta, which has great design features and water saving technology. This new ceramic piece boasts a 2.5-liter average discharge, making it the most efficient in this regard not only in Mexico but throughout the world.
◍ Encuentro Helvex
This is our biggest event of the year! We open our doors up wide to business, design,
innovation and architecture experts and representatives from Mexico and the rest of the world.

The sixth edition of DIA —Design, Innovation and Architecture— was a forum in which the audience participated actively with speakers to come up with ideas and discover solutions that contribute to building more sustainable societies.
⊛This year, the Encuentro Helvex motto was “Universes of Creation,” and highly relevant topics in design and architecture were addressed.

Among the most important points was the water crisis that Mexico is facing, giving us plenty of food for thought about the future.
⊛ Our deluxe forum was made up of more than a thousand architecture and design students from 23 universities and top-notch speakers such as Alicia Silva, Cristina Gómez, Francisco Pardo, Gustavo Diaz and Paola Espinoza.
◎ Design Week Mexico
The largest design and art event in CDMX took place between October 10 and November 5. An enormous success, the platform celebrated 15 years of promoting domestic talent, whose creations within the cultural, educational and commercial realms reflect highly on Mexico.

Through exhibitions, events and artistic shows, these weeks of creative outpouring also enabled visitors to see the novelties at Helvex and understand why we are still a leader in our field.
⊛ Specifically, we took part in Design House, the perfect combination of furnishings, finishes, lighting, accessories and art, all thanks to renowned design dealers.
⊛Intervening in five spaces within the design home, we installed 10 Helvex products, as well as Emozioni flooring and finishes. We also hosted a breakfast for special guests, two tastings and privates tours.

Dialogue and cultural exchange were especially noteworthy with this edition’s guest country, France. Additionally, 20 temporary showrooms were set up in containers arranged in the Mexico City Polanco district’s Lincoln Park.
